If you've followed me from my old blog, you'll know that is a particularly meaningful song for me because I've been a long-time fan of Alien Huang (Xiao Gui) since his early days. I was absolutely devastated when I heard the news last year about his passing because he's one of the only artists I still followed. It's almost impossible to never have heard of him before, but if you haven't, I highly recommend listening to all the songs from his first full album 'Love & Hero' (愛&英雄), as well as songs like Human (人類), 忘了怎麼快樂 and his posthumous album "Plan B".
Also, if you're into dramas and haven't watched Pi Li MIT (霹靂MIT), just do it - it's all available officially on YouTube now, and features some of my other favourite artists: Aaron Yan 炎亞綸, Emma Wu 鬼鬼吳映潔, Christine Fan 范瑋琪, etc.. He's in some other great dramas too, and does an amazing job in Din Tao: Leader of the Parade (陣頭), and more!
He's probably most known for his hosting work on 100% Entertainment 娛樂百分百 and Mr. Player 綜藝玩很大 and I highly recommend watching the latter if you're into outdoor variety shows with games and missions. This MV was filmed posthumously, starring his co-host from Mr. Player, KID 林柏昇, and his band, TAT (The Alien Team), and other artist friends.
Finally, I'm no specialist in 台語, but have spent a long time searching and learning because I love this song so much and want to pass this on to others who can't speak Taiwanese. 黃鴻升，謝謝你給我們的一切。
